Family is the most important thing we have. I have been blessed to raise my three sons in our beautiful city, and as they have grown into young adults, my commitment to Ventura's future has only grown stronger. I want to ensure that the Ventura we leave to the next generation is safer, stronger, and more prosperous than ever before.

Four years ago, the residents of District 5 entrusted me with the honor of representing them on the Ventura City Council. Since then, I have worked hard to be a strong advocate for East Ventura, focusing on public safety, economic development, and infrastructure improvements that enhance our quality of life.

As I seek re-election, my priorities remain clear. First, I will continue to support strong police, fire, and emergency services while pursuing practical and compassionate solutions to homelessness that protect our neighborhoods, parks, and business districts. Public safety must remain the foundation of a thriving community.

Second, I will continue to champion economic development efforts that create jobs, support local businesses, attract investment, and strengthen Ventura's tax base. A strong local economy is essential to maintaining the high-quality public services our residents deserve while preserving Ventura's unique character.

Third, I will remain focused on improving and modernizing Ventura's infrastructure. From streets and sidewalks to water, wastewater, parks, and public facilities, investing in our infrastructure today will ensure a more resilient and sustainable city tomorrow.

While we have made important progress, there is still work to do. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. I remain ready, willing, and committed to serving the residents of District 5 and advocating for the interests of East Ventura for generations to come.

I respectfully ask for your vote for re-election to the Ventura City Council. Together, we can continue building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Ventura.

-Bill McReynolds

What people are saying about
Bill McReynolds

My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for over 25 years. We chose to raise our three boys in Ventura because it’s a special place. Besides the countless hours of volunteering as a Cubmaster, AYSO Referee, and School Parent Volunteer, Bill has also spent hundreds of hours volunteering his time to the community with appointments on the Street Tree Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission and General Plan Advisory Committee. I know that Bill wants to make sure that the Ventura of the future is an even better place than the one that our boys grew up in. As an educator and mother, I know the struggles that so many families are experiencing due to the high cost of living in Ventura. Bill will work tirelessly to start addressing those struggles. With his vast experience in both the public and private sectors, he will use his knowledge and experience to enhance the lives of everyone in the 5 th District and all of Ventura. Bill has been vetted and endorsed by business and labor organizations because they know he is the right person to serve the residents of District 5 and the City of Ventura. He has their support and mine, I hope that you vote Bill McReynolds on November 8 th.
